Each treadmill consists of various spare parts (treadmill belts and flat motor belts), which need to be replaced after a certain period of time (average 7-10 years). But how do we know which is the right spare part or in this case the right belt for a treadmill? At this point you need to know the category of your treadmill, i.e. whether the treadmill you have belongs to the smaller category of 110Kg (maximum athlete weight), the medium category 130kg or the professional category 150-160kg. This way you will be able to choose the right treadmill belt.
The surfaces of an exercise treadmill belt may vary depending on the model of each treadmill. Typically 70% of fitness treadmill manufacturers, both Residential and Professional, worldwide use a belt with an Inverted Diamond surface. The remaining models use belts with a Sandblasted or Pastel surface. At this point, it should be mentioned that inverted diamond compared to sandblast surface or other surfaces, bears less wear and tear in use and does not easily show signs of hardness.
The sandblast or pastel surface on a treadmill belt with years of use can bear alterations (at the point of contact with the athlete's foot), as the grained surface tends to become smooth and subsequently dangerous to use.
There are many cases over the years that we have encountered corridor belts after several years of use, in which we have found low-strength linen (the reason for this is the lower production cost). A gym treadmill belt with lower quality linen tends to gain more elasticity, also after a few years of use we find detached surfaces and most importantly, the belt tends to carry more electrical load and temperature!
Both the linen and the running surface of a treadmill belt are carefully produced by the manufacturing companies for maximum durability over time and low friction on the deck (wooden floor) surface. Anti-static OEM linens have therefore been developed which operate quietly at high speeds and ensure that the coefficient of friction on the underside of a belt is very low. This allows the belt to run smoothly and guarantees lower power costs adding to higher average usage.
In ZAMPOUKAS company we are well aware of the concept of quality of transport and traffic products. By developing our equipment we have a range of welding machines (automatic presses - automatic cutting machines) that allow us to deliver a larger volume of orders daily. The way we methodically process each belt contributes to results of greater strength, especially at the point of thermal welding.
At Zampoukas we provide our customers with the necessary spare parts for their exercise treadmills. On our website you will find a wide range of products from treadmill belts, conveyor belts flat belts to PVC curtains. For any additional information please do not hesitate to call us at 2310782984.
