PU Timing Belt T20
The polyurethane (PU) timing belts from ZAMPOUKAS offer excellent length stability and very low friction. The material is available in gray, milky, or nearly transparent colors. Compared to neoprene, polyurethane has higher chemical resistance.
PU Timing Belt T20
The polyurethane (PU) timing belts from ZAMPOUKAS offer excellent length stability and very low friction. Available in gray, milky, or nearly transparent material, polyurethane provides higher chemical resistance compared to neoprene.
These belts are available in rolls, which are cut to both length and width according to your specific requirements. This means that the length can be freely adjusted. For linear motion systems, they are used as open belts with measured lengths, while in conveyor applications, they are typically used as welded belts.
Measured-length PU timing belts can be welded to any desired length. They are available in custom widths and custom lengths. Rolls can be up to 100 meters long and widths from 6 to 300 mm.
✔ Maintenance-free
✔ Good oil resistance
✔ Limited resistance to cold and ozone
✔ Temperature range: -25 °C to +80 °C
The profile of a timing belt defines the shape, size, and spacing of the teeth.
The T20 profile is trapezoidal, with the teeth and gaps between them being nearly the same size. The distance from the center of one tooth to the center of the next is 20 mm.
The reinforcements within the belt define the tensile strength (load transmission).
Steel reinforcements allow for high tensile strength. Through the twisting process, the fine, zinc-coated reinforcements gain increased stability and tension resistance. However, as steel is prone to corrosion, these reinforcements are not suitable for use in wet environments.
At ZAMPOUKAS, we ensure that our polyurethane timing belts deliver optimal performance and custom solutions for every application.
