PU Timing Belt T10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Polyurethane (PU) timing belts ensure excellent length stability<\/strong> and very low friction<\/strong>. The material is available in gray, milky, or nearly transparent<\/strong> colors. Compared to neoprene, polyurethane offers greater chemical resistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These belts are manufactured in closed lengths<\/strong>, meaning the length options are limited to the available production sizes. Thanks to the spirally integrated pulling system<\/strong>, this construction method allows for high power transmission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The produced roll, which can have a width of up to 500mm<\/strong>, is always cut to your desired dimension, allowing for custom sizing. Note that cut belts cannot be restocked<\/strong>, so they are excluded from returns or exchanges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

T10 Profile<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The profile of a timing belt defines the shape, size<\/strong>, and spacing of the teeth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The T10 profile<\/strong> is trapezoidal<\/strong>. The teeth and spaces between them are nearly the same size. The distance from the center of one tooth to the center of the next<\/strong> is 10mm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Steel Reinforcements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The reinforcements<\/strong> within the belt determine the tensile strength (load transmission)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Steel reinforcements<\/strong> allow for high tensile strength<\/strong>. Through the twisting process<\/strong>, the fine, zinc-coated reinforcements<\/strong> gain increased stability and tension resistance<\/strong>. However, because steel is prone to corrosion<\/strong>, these reinforcements are not suitable for use in wet environments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
